Everyone learns new things every single day, but often these new competences are not recognized because they are acquired outside of school or work, or because there is no official accreditation involved. Cofora offers a personal approach in which we focus on the individual. The individual is taught to discover and learn to appreciate their competences and aptitudes through personal strength. That will lead to a personalized advice to anyone, emphasizing what can be achieved. This could of course be part of VPL (the valuation of prior learning) or lead to new systems of accrediting past experience. By the way, in the Netherlands we call VPL, also known as APL (Accreditation of Prior Learning), EVC (Erkenning van Verworven Competenties).
